Walking through the Portland South Park Blocks near PSU is always a pleasure. The Pacific Northwest winter usually offers up rain and grey skies, flattening the light. Winter recedes and a brighter light arrives with spring and stays on throughout the summer, slanting shadows across light-struck patches in the park.
